SIMPAG AMPEK - To increase and boost the people’s plantations, which are about 1 millions hectare, they need replanting process. Plantation Agency of West Pasaman, West Sumatera plans to do replanting process to 100.314 hectares.
“The replanting is one effort to improve the palm oil genetics which are not productive anymore and replanted by the superior seeds,” Chief of Plantation Agency of West Pasaman, Alfitri Noven said as quoted from Antara, West Sumatera, Friday, (27/6/2014).
Alfitri explained, the replanting process will be done in phase. He also claimed that his side had been doing it in 120 hectares in 2013. (T3)
