JAKARTA - PT SMART Tbk achieved Work Healthy and Safety Management System Award (WHSMS) and Zero Accident Award in 2014, which was held on May 26, 2014 in Birawa Room, Bidakara Hotel. The yearly agenda was held by Ministry of Labour and Transmigration to appreciate the companies and regional governments which successfully do WHSMS.

In its official statements which InfoSAWIT got, there 19 units in PT SMART achieved the awards in two big categories, they are, Zero Accident Award and Certificates of WHSMS

In North Sumatera region, the zero accident award categories were achieved by KULE, PHLE, PHLM, and PRNE, while PHLM and LPYM achieved certification of WHSMS. In Jambi regions, two units achieved the awards, they are, SBNM (PT SKU) and BTME (PT KDA).

In Riau, there 5 units got the awards - 2 zero accident awards for BPMM and INSM while KJG, NSAM, and RRMM got WHSMS certifications. In Central Kalimantan which convering PT BAS, PT TN, PT BAT and PT AKPL, they all got Zero Accident Awards. The WHSMS certifications were given to two new compaies from Central Kalimantan, they were, SRUM and TRWE.

In his speech, Secretary of Labor and Transmigration, Muhaimin Iskandar said, the WHSMS was one sectoral work so both company and the people should be active to implement good and health work circumstance. Its goal is to guarantee the safety of work in the company and the regional governments. (T3)
