ABUJA – One biggest palm oil company in Nigeria, Okomu Oil Palm Company Plc,plans to build palm oil factory (POF) by investing 2,5 billions Niera, which would be the biggest plantation in Africa before the end of this year, 2014.
According to the company, the POF will be completed by the newest technologies, by making sterilizers in sloping position and itis hoped to increase the production capacity from 30 tons fresh fruit/day to be 60 tons fresh fruit/day.
The chairman of the company, Gbenga Oyebode said, there will be special costs to specify palm oil and rubber, that is 8 billions Niera and the expansion programme in next four years. (T3)
