EKPOMA–West Owan of Regional Government of Edo had planted more than 5.000 palm oil seeds as parts of its contibution to the agriculture development in Nigeria.
Chairman of the Representative, Godwin Aigbodionto journalists said, the project was an initiatives of the government to increase the agriculture in the state country to get more internal income for the representative.
"What I can do so far for the agriculture in the first region is planting palm oil seeds,” he said as quoted from AllAfrica, Monday, (9/6/2014)
He continued, his side had planted more than 5.000 palm oil seeds and they had been ready to sell it. The people who wanted to buy would get the subsidized price. (T3)
