SAMARINDA–Agriculture Agency of East Kalimantan, through Techincal Units of Plantation Seeds Control, from January to April, 2014 has certified 453.285 palm oil sprouts.

"The needs of palm oil in East Kalimantan from January to April, 2014, based on the recomendation of Palm Oil Seeds Supply, given by the Agriculture Agency of East Kalimantan, were453.285 sprouts, produced by official seeds supplier from Ministry of Agriculture,” Head of Agriculture Agency, East Kalimantan, Etnawati Usman saidas quoted from Technical Units of Plantation Seeds Control, Monday, (19/5/2014).

She continued, the official seeds producers derived from 10 companies, such as,  Pusat Penelitian Kelapa Sawit (PPKS), Medan; PT Socfindo, Medan; PT London Sumatera (Lonsum), Medan;PT Bina Sawit Makmur (Sampoerna Agro), South Sumatera;PT  Dami Mas (Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology), Pekanbaru;  PT Tunggal Yunus Estate (Asian Agri Group), Riau; PT Tania Selatan (Wilmar International), South  Sumatera;PT Bakti Tani Nusantara, Batam; PT Sarana Inti Pratama (Salim Grup), Pekanbaru; and PT Sasaran Eksan Mekarsari (Mekarsari), Bogor.

Meanwhile, according to the report of seeds certification, from January to April, 2014, there had been 453.285  certified palm oil sprouts, 752.360 certified seeds, and 7.782 rubbers. (T3)
