KONYA – Turkey is so strategic to be the facilitator for Indonesian agriculture products to Europe and Africa. Secretary of Agriculture, Suswono said, Indonesia and Turkey could be sinergized to utilize the markets opportunities in each country.
He thought, Turkey having subtropical climate would need products which are able to grow in tropical climate and vice versa, that Indonesia needs agricultural products made of subtropical country, such as, Turkey.
“Each country has its superior products and could be in trade,” Suswono said when giving public speech to the students of Agriculture of University of Selcuk, Wednesday, (28/5) in Konya, Turkey.
It was noted in 2013, Indonesia exported crude palm oil, rubber and others to Turkey within US$ 476,3 millions in nominal. (T3)
