EDO – Developing palm oil industry in Africa would employ some field workers. The government of EDO – state of Nigeria – said, Wednesday in Benin, more than 200 thousands workers will be needed in 2015.
State commisioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Mr Abdul Oroh, said to NAN, palm oil would make the chance to the industrial development.
“As the plantation which full of works, palm oil is the big company to hire workers. Our aspiration is that in 2015, palm oil sector would hire at least 200 thousands men,” he said, Wednesday (23/4/2014).
He thought, this country would reach by planting additional plants about 100.000 hectare (ha) /year to increase the employment and increase the state’s income.
"We also support, promote to found palm oil factory in the region which are not far from the big plantation,” he said. (T3)
