JAKARTA–In his speech in Forests Asia Summit conference, 2014 in Jakarta, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono asked all of the countries in Southern Asia to implement green development.
He asked the government in Southtern Asia to commit to the sustainable areal management and investment practices without sacrifying natural resources – especially the forests. Indonesia is the third tropical forest in the world.
"What we do today is not for ourselves but it will be usefull for billions of people who inherit this planet (earth),” Yudhoyono said..
It was one of many suggestions to inform global main policy which related to the climate changes and sustainable developments. (T3)
