JAKARTA - Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Golden Agri Resources Ltd., Franky Oesman Widjaja said, to develop palm oil, planters should prioritize the environmental balances.

“Crude palm oil (CPO) producers would pay attention to the environmental aspects,” he said in the panel whenbeing in Forests Asia Summit 2014 conference , whichInfoSAWIT attended, Monday (5/5/2014).

He explained, to develop sustainable palm oil industry, there should be stakeholders to involve. Beside that, Franky also said that his company had implemented the policy, not to plant in the peatland. (T3)
