MEDAN–Vice Governor of North Sumatera,Tengku Erry Nuradi offered to invest palm oil to Chinese Businessman. This province is the second biggest palm oil producer in Indonesia.
Tengku Erry told it to new General Consulate of China in the meeting and greeting ceremony of the new General Consulate Hotel JW Marriot Hotel,.
“We hope to increase the cooperation between North Sumatera and China for it is positive and profitable for both sides,” Erry told as quoted from Berita Sore,Thursday (1/5/2014).
North Sumatera Central Statictic Board told, in January 2014, the export from North Sumatera to China was 101,582 millions dollar US or it increased 25,83%than in January 2013 which was US$ 80,738 millions. The import from China was US$r 62,214 millions in January 2014. (T3)
