JAKARTA – PT Sampoerna Agro  Tbk having palm oil commodity in the first quarter (1Q2014) which ended on March 31, 2014 got increasing selling of crude palm  oil (CPO) – 10% with the everage selling Rp 9, 011 per kg than the4Q2013  ot it increased significantly 47% in the 1Q2013.

In the report, CPO contributed to the increasing income in 1Q2014 to 13% than in 1Q2013 which was Rp534.72 though the volume was 23% lower to sell in this year. Palm kernel also increased 22% to be Rp61.23 billions than the previous year which was Rp50.35 billions.

“CPO contributed 82% to the consolidation income of the company which was  Rp649.63 billions in 1Q2014, or it increased 13% from 1Q2013,” Sampoerna Agro said, Wednesday (30/4/2014) like what InfoSAWIT got.

Meanwhile the harvest of the fruit from the main plantation of the company increased 13% in 1Q2014 which reaching 163.676 tons. But the production of CPO in the same period decreased 10%. It happened for the decreasing contribution of external production about 36% year on year.

“The production in 1Q2014 happened for the increasing 35% in Kalimantan but in Sumatera the production decreased 31%,” he ended.(T3)
