KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysian International Trade Industry (MITI) Department said, in March, 2015 the agricultural exports reached RM5,17billions for the decreasing palm oil exports which reaching RM551,1 millions. The decreasing exports happened for the decreasing price.
Accumulatively, Malaysian trades in March 2015 were surplus about RM 7,82 billions from RM 4,52 billions in February.
The trades in March increased 3,9% to be RM 125,11 billions within the exports and imports increased to RM 66,47 billions and RM 58,64 billions for each than the same month in last year.
In the official statement, MITI explained as quoted from Bernama Thursday (7/5), the export expansion to United States of America, India, China, and Hongkong were higher than the exports in March.
While in the first quarter, Malaysian trades were surplus RM 21,33 billions within the total numbers reaching RM 345,15 billions, consisting of, the exports about RM 183,24 billions and the imports about 161,91 billions. (T3)
