KUALA LUMPUR– Sustainable palm oil absorption increased 49% in the first quarter 2014 (1Q2014) than in the same period in last year.
According to Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), the selling of Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO) in 1Q2014 which was end in 31 March 2014 had highly increased, 49 % for the physical item of RSPO CSPO. It also increased 54 % to certified GreenPalmgggthan the first quarter in 2013 or 1Q2013.
"Last several months many companies have realized to make 100% production in Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO) for the limit time will be in 2015,” Director of Technics, RSPO, Salahudin Yaacob, as quoted from Cosmeticsdesign-Europe, Wednesday (14/5/2014). (T3)
