JAKARTA – The palm oil fruit production of PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk (SSMS) in the first quarter 2015 (1Q2015) increased 3,5% to be 218.567 tonsthan the production in 1Q2014 which reached 211.142 tons.
In the official statement, Sunday (3/5), the company mentioned, palm oil plantation had produced 4,9 tons/hectare, while the projection was about 23 tons/hectare in a full year.
The average selling price of crude palm oil (CPO) of PT SSMS in 1Q2015 was Rp8 millions/ton or it was cheaper than the price in 2014 which reaching Rp8,3 millions/ton.
The decreasing, the company continued, happened for the decreasing rupiah currency towards US dollar so the CPO price is lower or about US$624 tons. (T3)
