KUANSING –There were about 500 hectares (ha) of palm oil plantation in Pantai, Subdistrict of Kuantan Mudik and Pucuk Rantau, belonging to PT Tri Bakti Sarimas (TBS) could not be harvested for the miners having no licence in Kuantan Singingi (Kuansing).
"About 500 ha of the company’s plantation had been broken. The miners were brave to do their activities,” one source said it as quoted fromRiau Headline, Wednesday, (7/7/2014).
The company claimed, his side had done every thing to stop the minings. But the miners kept doing it and even attacked the company. Beside that, the company also reported to the police departement. But so far, no thing to do.(T3)
