Net Profit of Wilmar Decreased 49%

SINGAPORE – The company which runs many kinds of commodities, Wilmar International Limited, Thrusday (8/5/2014) reported, the net profit of the company  significantly decreased in the first quarter 2014 (1Q2014) about 49% to be US$ 161.8 millions than in the same period which reached US$ 315.4 millions. Net profit of non operational in 1Q2014 also decreased 32% from US$313.7 millions to be US$214.6 millions.

But Wilmar noted the increasing volume about 17% in the consumers’ products in the 1Q2014. Though the oil price was higher in 1Q2014. “It was just a litte increasing to be US $ 10.27 miliar because the average selling price is lower such as sugar and oil consumers,” Wilmar said as InfoSAWIT received, Thrusday (8/5/2014).

Meanwhile, the selling of Palm & Laurics 1Q2014 increased higher to be 5,6 millions metrik ton. (T3)
