District of Seluma Is Lack of CPO POF

The small numbers of CPO POF, as one farmer, Sarjan Effendi said, effect to the large numbers of transportation trucks to lift up the fruit to the factory when being harvest time.

It is not only that. The small numbers of CPO POF also effect to the cheaper fruit price. The farmers have no other option beside selling the fruit to the available factories. If it is taken out of District of Seluma, it will cost lots of money and time.

“Now the fruit price is cheaper than the price in South Bengkulu. The  fruit is Rp 1.355 here but in South Bengkulu, it reaches Rp 1.440 per kilogram,” he said as quoted from InfoPublik, Wednesday (22/4). (T3)
