Kencana Agri Decreased 44% in 1q2014

SINGAPURA – Palm oil company, Kencana Agri Limited in the first quarter 2014 (1Q2014) had decreasing income about 44% to be US$ 50,2 millions to the same period in last year which was US$ 89,5 millions.

“It happened for the decreasing selling of CPO in 1Q2014 which was balanced the average selling price (ASP) of CPO,” Kencana Agri mentioned in the monetary report which InfoSAWIT received, Wednesday (14/5/2014)

It also decreased in the selling volume of CPO about 55% from 122.954 metric ton (MT) to be 55,452 MT. While the ASP of CPO increased from US$ 691 in 1Q2013 to be US$ 785 in 1Q2014.

In addition, the group also noted operational profit (OP) in 1Q2014 increased from US$ 1,6 millions to be US$ 11,3 million and the net profit after tax increased from US$ 104.000 to be US$ 6,1 millions. (T3)
