GHANA– Association of Palm Oil Development of Ghana (OPDAG) mentioned, for last six months, there have been 48 thousands tons of unstandard palm oil which are illegally imported to Ghana without tight monitoring.
Ghana Web reported, Protective Council of OPDAG, Nana Otuo Siriboe II explained, the unstandard palm oil is completed by the high fat and dangerous concentration to be consumed by mankind. So he suggested the government should tighten the borders and ensure that palm oil which will be in the country should fulfill the standard quality and the price so that it could increase the better income to the country.
