The Trade Balance in March Was Surplus US$ 1,1 Billions

JAKARTA – Secretary of Trade, Indonesian Republic, Rachmat Gobel said, in March 2015, the national trade balance was surplus until US$ 1,1 billions. It was from non oil and gas about US$1,4 billionsand the deficit of gas and oil about US$279 millions.

“The trade balance in March 2015 succeeded to make surplus about US$1,1 billions, higher than the surplus in the previous month which reaching US$662,7 millions,” he said in Jakarta, Thursday (16/4/2015).

He also explained, in March the total export reached US$13,7 billionswhile the total import reached US$12,6 billions. So the national trade balance was surplus US$1,1 billions in March.

The trade balance in last three months (January to March) accumulatively was plus US$2,4 billions, which consisted of non oil and gas surplus, about US$2,8 billionsand the trade deficit of oil and gas reaching US$401,3 millions.

He also said, the countries making surplus trade balance in last three months were India, US, Netherland, Philippine, Arab United Union, with the surplus about US$6,1 billions. (T3)
