Bekasi – As a matter of fact, palm oil candle business is potential, just like what PT Biolina does, locating in Bekasi , West Java. The owner of Biolina, Lina Darmadi said, palm oil candle is exported to six countries in the world.
It is clear, the high demands have urged Biolina to produce palm oil candle up to 4 – 6 tons – about 90% of the candle are exported, such as, to German, Switz, Franch, Sweden, and Korea. Hiring 30 workers, Biolina could have turnover about Rp 500 millions per month.
In general, the flavorful candle is more expensive 30% up to 40% from the regular candle. “Our buyers from Europe like flavorless candle than the buyers in Asia who like flavorful candle,” Lina said as quoted from Merdeka. (T2)
