PELALAWAN -  PT Sari Lembah Subur (SLS), the subindustry of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk operating in District of Pelalawan, Riau Province, take the people around to prevent the fire in the forest and area.

SLS launched the programme of preventing fire in the forest and area which is called, Aksi Kepedulian Lingkungan bersama Masyarakat dan PT Sari Lembah Subur (AKLIMASI). The programme is hoped to be the preventive way to distinguish the fire. Regent of Pelalawan, HM Harris appreciated the programme. He thought, the fire is not only the responsibility of the government but also the people.

“On behalf of the Government of Pelalawan, we welcome the programme,” Harris said when officially innagurating the AKLIMASI programme 2015, in the field of PT Sari Lembah Subur (SLS), Genduang Village, Subdistrict of Pangkalan Lesung, District of Pelalawan, Tuesday (7/4).

As being written in Sindo, Director of Andalas 2, PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk., Bambang Wijanarko explained, the programme is to ask the people realize the danger of the forest and area. In the programme, there are sevent points which were given to the people.

The points basically mean to ask the people aware of the fire. Bambang said, the seven points are Fire Care People, Programme of Sialang Honey Farmers, Programme of Healthy Village, Programme of Good School, Programme of Degraded Area Rehabilitation, Programme of Local Species Conservation, Programme of Melayu Culture Development.(T2)
