JAKARTA – In 2015, PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) VI will run palm oil downstream industry by founding palm kernel oil (PKO) factory within s 40 tons – 50 tons per hour in capacity in Sungai Bahar, Jambi.
Director of PTPN VI, Iskandar Sulaiman said, it is strategic policy to run downstream products which have higher values to increase the competitiveness of palm oil which is managed by the company in Jambi and West Sumatera.
"We should be in the palm oil downstream business so we are more sustainable and produce higher additional values. PKO is one downstream industry to run in 2015," Iskandar said as quoted fromHarian Bisnis Indonesia, Wednesday (21/05). (T3)
