GRESIK –Production Mechine "glycerin" belonging to PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia in Jalan Kapten Darmo Sugondo 56, District of Gresik, East Java, on Wednesday (8/4) was in flame and the loss reached about Rp150 millions.
Public Relation of PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia, Wahid, Thursday (9/4) said, the loss was about the broken mechine and this disturbed the production for a while.
“If it is calculated, the loss reaches between Rp 100 millions to Rp 150 millions for the mechince was in flame,” he said to some journalists in Gersik, as quoted from Antara Jatim.
He also explained, the disturbance happens in the “finish plant” area and the disturbing productions reach about 10 percents from the total production in the company.
He continued, the "finish plant" area is controlled by the automatic mechine so the broken or burned materials were mechines, pipes, the building of the mechine, and the pipes upholstery.
“It bothers the production but not significantly. The access of the production which has been damaged was in the making of material area for soap, and cough,” he said.
Wahid continued, the way of palm oil production is safe for the security team were ready to save the burning area so it did not spread to other areas in the company. (T3)
