SINGAPURA – By the end of March, Golden Agri Resources Ltd (GAR) totally has planted area about 469.576 hectare, which consist of 369.294 ha are main plantation and the rest, 100.282 are plasma plantation.
According to GAR, Wednesday (14/5/2014), which InfoSAWIT got, the trees were 14 years old in average and they gave good harvest to support the sustainable production in the middle term.
For 0-3 years old, the area was 25.731 ha, 4-6 years old, the area was 65.826 ha, 7-18 years old, the area was 21.686 ha,19- 25 years old, the area was 137.995 ha and more than 25 years old, the area was 24.338 ha. The total planted area was 469.576 ha.
The production of fruit year-on –year (yoy), GAR increased the income about 4,4 % from 2.14 millions of tons in the first quarter (1Q2014) to be 2.24 ton. (T3)
