JAKARTA – General Director of Plantation, Ministry of Agriculture, Gamal Nasir said, the government plans to enlarge palm oil plantation in the border areas between Kalimantan and Malaysia.
This is to increase the welfare of the people around and get them back who work in Malaysia. “Malaysia has enlarged the plantations and get our employees there. We are doing our best to get them back. We can do it, can’t we?” he explained in Jakarta, Thursday (9/4).
Gamal continued, to enlarge palm oil plantation, the location is being coordinated with Ministry of Environment and Forestry, but it will be in the borders.
The programme itself, Gamal said, will use plama main system, that is, the company and the people as the partner. (T3)
