KPBN Inacom CPO Price Rises to Rp15,688 per Kg as Malaysian Palm Oil Futures Gain

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Indonesia’s crude palm oil (CPO) reference price set by PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN Inacom) rose to Rp15,688 per kilogram on Thursday, August 13, 2026, strengthening by Rp86 per kg, or around 0.55%, from the highest bid of Rp15,602 per kg recorded a day earlier.

According to information received by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price at Franco Dumai was set at Rp15,688 per kg. Meanwhile, the FOB Talang Duku price opened at Rp15,438 per kg before the tender was withdrawn, with the highest bid recorded at Rp15,275 per kg.

At Franco Teluk Bayur, CPO opened at Rp15,488 per kg. The tender was subsequently withdrawn, with the highest bid standing at Rp15,325 per kg.

The increase in Indonesia’s CPO reference price came alongside a stronger performance in the Malaysian palm oil futures market.

According to Reuters, the benchmark CPO futures contract for October 2026 on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange gained RM27 per metric ton, or 0.57%, to close at RM4,724 per ton, equivalent to approximately US$1,156.43 per ton.

The recovery in Malaysian palm oil futures followed a period of intraday weakness, with gains supported by stronger prices for competing vegetable oils on the Dalian Commodity Exchange. Market participants, however, remained cautious as they awaited fresh catalysts to determine the next direction of the market.

The most-active soyoil contract in Dalian rose 0.5%, while Dalian palm oil futures gained 0.4%. Meanwhile, soybean oil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade edged up around 0.06%.
