Aceh Fresh Fruit Bunch Prices Reach Rp3,763/kg for Mature Plasma Plantations

InfoSAWIT, BANDA ACEH – The Aceh Provincial Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Pricing Team has announced new oil palm FFB purchasing prices for the period July 29–August 11, 2026, with the highest price reaching Rp3,763 per kilogram for plasma smallholders whose plantations are between 10 and 20 years old in eastern Aceh.

According to InfoSAWIT, citing the Aceh Provincial Agriculture and Plantation Agency on Tuesday (August 4), the pricing structure is determined based on plantation age for plasma growers, while independent smallholders receive prices according to the composition of tenera and dura fruit.

For plasma growers in Eastern Aceh, prices range from Rp2,827/kg for three-year-old plantations to Rp3,763/kg for trees aged 10–20 years before gradually declining for older plantations.

In Western Aceh, the highest price for plantations aged 10–20 years was set at Rp3,734/kg, while younger and older plantations receive adjusted prices based on productivity and age classifications.

For independent growers, prices are linked to fruit quality, particularly the percentage of tenera and dura fruit. In Eastern Aceh, fully tenera fruit commands Rp3,455/kg, while mixed fruit compositions receive proportionally lower prices. Similar pricing adjustments apply in Western Aceh.

The provincial pricing team also established the K Index at 89.86 percent for Eastern Aceh and 89.15 percent for Western Aceh.

During this pricing period, the reference crude palm oil (CPO) price was set at Rp15,657.13 per kilogram, while the palm kernel reference price reached Rp14,466.59 per kilogram.

The official prices serve as a benchmark for transactions between mills and partner growers across Aceh during the designated pricing period. However, actual buying prices in the field may vary depending on local market conditions and commercial agreements. (T2)
