BENGKULU–Non Government Organizations keep making campaigns which says that palm oil industries damage the environment and harm the pople. On Monday (18/5/2014), in Bengkulu, two activist of United States, Jeff Conant from Friends of Earth (FOE) and Brihannala Morgan from Rainforest Action Network (RAN) did campaigns aboutpalm oil and minings.
"We will do campaigns in US to reduce palm oil consumption and campaigns the damages of minings for the people,” Jeff Conant said.
It was quoted fromKompas, Monday (19/5), after meeting the people in where palm oil and minings were harmful for them.
Jeff Conan and Brihannala Morgan came to District of Seluma and North Bengkulu to do palm oil and minings campaign, as the long term conflicts. (T3)
