KUALA LUMPUR -Two big companies, Genting Plantations Bhd and Musim Mas Group cooperate to build palm oil factory in Palm Oil Industrial Cluster (POIC) in Lahad Datu, Sabah.
Genting Plantations will have 72%of interests in the joint venture company, Alfa Raya Development Sdn Bhd, while Musim Mas Group will have28% of interests.The factory will need RM 300 millions of investment within 600.000 ton/year or 1.800 ton/day and it is targeted to be finished in the second semester of 2016.
StarBiz wrote, Executive of Genting Plantations, Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay said, the factory will be the bigger part in Genting Integrated Biorefinery Complexto prepare and produce downstream products having higher values. (T3)
