JAKARTA – Coordinator Secretary of Economy, Sofyan Djalil said, the government is finishing the Regulation Draft about the Crude palm oil Supporting Fund (CSF) on Saturday (4/4).

“We have prepared the Regulation. It will be finished tomorrow, Saturday (4/4). It is called the Regulation about the Establishment of Citation Fund to Support the Sustainable Palm Oil Industry,” he said, Thursday (2/4)

The funds will derive from the CPO out fee (OF) about US$ 50/ton and the derivative products about US$ 30/ton which the Public Service Agency (PSA) will manage and the funds will not be in the State Budget.

For your information, the making of PSA covers some steering committes, such as, Ministry of Treasury, Agriculture, Industry, Trade and Coordinator Ministry of Economy.

The CSF, as quoted from some media, will be used in the Biodiesel 15% (B15), in people’s palm oil replanting programme, and increasing human resources, in research and development programme.(T3)
