PEKANBARU – Head of Economical and Natural Resources Bureau, Province of Riau, Syahrial Abdi, Wednesday (1/4) mentioned, his side is struggling for getting the sharing revenue (SR) from crude palm oil (CPO) export tax.
The contribution from CPO having tax and how the Province gets the SR from the CPO tax are being fought for by the government together with the other CPO producers.
If it is successful, Syahril continued, Riau Province will get Rp 8 billions in every single year.
“That is the future potency. The potency has been struggled by other CPO producers in many provinces. It becomes the future agenda of the Province. We hoped, the Energy Board could listen to this aspiration so that we get the results from the cultivation happening in Riau,” he said as quoted from Riau Pos. (T3)
