InfoSAWIT, PADANG – The Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) Pricing Team of West Sumatra Province has agreed to increase palm oil FFB prices for the fourth period of May 2026, covering May 22–31.
Based on the latest pricing decision, FFB from oil palm trees aged 10–20 years was set at Rp4,005.78 per kilogram, marking an increase of Rp7.02/kg from the previous period.
According to InfoSAWIT’s review of data from the West Sumatra Plantation, Food Crops, and Horticulture Agency, prices for younger plantations were established at Rp3,130.10/kg for three-year-old palms, Rp3,311.82/kg for four-year-old palms, Rp3,510.76/kg for five-year-old palms, Rp3,625.27/kg for six-year-old palms, Rp3,771.16/kg for seven-year-old palms, and Rp3,912.83/kg for eight-year-old palms.
Meanwhile, nine-year-old palms were priced at Rp3,992.94/kg, while plantations aged 21 years reached Rp3,845.61/kg and 22-year-old palms stood at Rp3,839.86/kg. Prices for older trees were set at Rp3,782.57/kg for 23-year-old palms, Rp3,607.88/kg for 24-year-old palms, and Rp3,570.58/kg for 25-year-old palms.
The pricing team also determined the benchmark crude palm oil (CPO) price at Rp15,183.25/kg, while palm kernel prices were fixed at Rp15,137.00/kg. The shell value was set at Rp17.75/kg, with a K index of 94.34%.
