JOHOR – In the general yearly meeting of Federal Land Consolidation and Rehabilitation Authority (Felcra) Sri Mersing Project, which was attended by 1, 150 participants, the meeting should wait for some time to get profits from palm oil projects.
Senior officer Felcra Bhd (southern zone), Abdul Malek Hasyim emphasized, the participants should be patient fro the project will be 10 years and the palm oil is the main project.
Beside that Malek, who is the representation of Felcra Bhd (southern zone), the General Manager - Zulkifli Sidik were optimist that the increasing price of the commodity, especially palm oil, and the participants of the project will get the high profits.
"By this moment, there is one of three projects to get profits. It is not enough to return for every single tree has small harvest,” Malek said as quoted from nst, Thrusday (15/5/2014).
He also explained, the palm oil project in 400 hectare area has been started from four years ago. Every participant has RM 300 for their living while waiting for the trees to be in harvest. The numbers of money is given by Risda and Malaysian Palm Oil BGGGoard. (T3)
