InfoSAWIT, PANGKALPINANG – The Bangka Belitung Provincial Government, through its Agriculture and Food Security Agency, has set fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for plasma smallholders for the first period of May 2026, effective from May 1 to May 15, 2026.
The pricing decision was finalized during a meeting of the provincial FFB Pricing Team held on May 6, 2026.
According to the official report reviewed by InfoSAWIT on Tuesday (12/5/2026), the weighted average crude palm oil (CPO) price was set at Rp15,409.43 per kilogram, while the weighted average kernel price reached Rp15,547.75 per kilogram, with a K index of 92.93 percent.
“The weighted average CPO price was set at Rp15,409.43 per kilogram and the weighted average kernel price at Rp15,547.75 per kilogram,” the pricing team stated in the report.
FFB prices for palm trees aged 10–20 years were set at Rp3,865 per kilogram, down Rp21 from the previous pricing period.
Under the new pricing structure, FFB prices ranged from Rp3,153 per kilogram for three-year-old palms to Rp3,865 per kilogram for trees aged 10–20 years.
The provincial government stated that the pricing mechanism refers to Bangka Belitung Governor Regulation No. 14/2019 concerning guidelines for determining FFB purchase prices from local smallholders, as well as Governor Decree No. 188.44/34/DPKP/2024 regarding the formation of the provincial FFB pricing and monitoring team.
