InfoSAWIT, SAMARINDA – Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for oil palm plantations in East Kalimantan declined during the first pricing period of June 2026, according to the latest assessment issued by the provincial FFB Pricing Team.
For oil palm trees aged 10 to 20 years, the benchmark FFB price fell by Rp213.27 per kilogram to Rp3,403.83/kg for the period of June 1–15, 2026.
Based on data released by the East Kalimantan Plantation Agency and compiled by InfoSAWIT, FFB prices were set at Rp2,989.34/kg for three-year-old palms, Rp3,084.42/kg for four-year-old palms, Rp3,169.41/kg for five-year-old palms, Rp3,239.06/kg for six-year-old palms, Rp3,285.93/kg for seven-year-old palms, and Rp3,339.12/kg for eight-year-old palms.
Meanwhile, palms aged nine years were priced at Rp3,379.73/kg, while the benchmark category of 10–20 years reached Rp3,403.83/kg. For older plantations, prices were established at Rp3,355.43/kg for 21-year-old palms, Rp3,289.25/kg for 22-year-old palms, Rp3,217.94/kg for 23-year-old palms, Rp3,182.30/kg for 24-year-old palms, and Rp3,153.03/kg for mature trees above that age category.
The pricing team also set the reference crude palm oil (CPO) price at Rp14,224.67/kg, while palm kernel prices were fixed at Rp13,898.47/kg.
The decline reflects changing market dynamics affecting the province’s palm oil sector during the first half of June. (T2)
