InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – Plasma smallholder palm oil growers in Riau received a modest boost after provincial authorities approved a slight increase in Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) prices for the June 17–23, 2026 pricing period.
Based on the latest pricing decision issued by the Riau Provincial FFB Pricing Team, the benchmark price for nine-year-old oil palm trees rose by Rp17.36/kg to Rp3,785.88/kg.
According to data compiled by InfoSAWIT from the Riau Plantation Agency, FFB prices ranged from Rp2,913.56/kg for three-year-old palms to Rp3,785.88/kg for nine-year-old trees.
Plantations aged between 10 and 20 years were priced at Rp3,765.20/kg, while older plantations recorded gradually lower benchmark values depending on age.
The provincial committee also set the reference crude palm oil (CPO) price at Rp15,243.59/kg and palm kernel prices at Rp12,492.77/kg. Palm shell values were established at Rp19.15/kg, while the K-index stood at 93.30%.
Although the increase was relatively small, it reflects stable market conditions and continued support for plasma growers amid fluctuating global palm oil prices. (T2)
