InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – Palm oil Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) prices for plasma smallholders in Riau Province recorded a slight decline for the June 24–30, 2026 pricing period, according to the latest determination issued by the provincial pricing team.
Based on the official pricing decision, FFB from nine-year-old palms decreased by Rp9.72 per kilogram to Rp3,776.16 per kilogram.
Data obtained by InfoSAWIT from the Riau Plantation Agency showed that FFB prices for plantations aged 10–20 years were set at Rp3,755.44 per kilogram, while younger plantations recorded lower rates according to age categories.
The pricing formula was supported by a reference CPO price of Rp15,304.99 per kilogram, a palm kernel price of Rp12,368.20 per kilogram, shell value of Rp19.77 per kilogram, and a K index of 92.87 percent.
Although prices softened slightly compared with the previous period, Riau’s FFB values remain historically strong, supported by elevated domestic CPO prices and expectations of increased palm oil demand from the upcoming B50 biodiesel mandate.
Local authorities emphasized that the published prices serve as official references for plasma smallholders, while actual field transactions may vary depending on quality, logistics, and individual purchasing arrangements. (T2)
