InfoSAWIT, JAMBI – Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) prices in Jambi Province recorded a significant increase for the June 12–18, 2026 pricing period, providing a positive outlook for oil palm Smallholders across the province.
Based on the decision of the Jambi Provincial FFB Pricing Team, the FFB price for oil palm trees aged 10 to 20 years increased by Rp265.9 per kilogram, bringing the new benchmark price to Rp3,706.67/kg.
According to data compiled by InfoSAWIT from the Jambi Provincial Plantation Agency, FFB prices by tree age were set as follows:
3 years: Rp2,888.15/kg
4 years: Rp3,089.63/kg
5 years: Rp3,231.33/kg
6 years: Rp3,365.99/kg
7 years: Rp3,450.85/kg
8 years: Rp3,524.76/kg
9 years: Rp3,593.82/kg
10–20 years: Rp3,706.67/kg
21–24 years: Rp3,596.57/kg
25 years: Rp3,434.16/kg
The provincial committee also established the crude palm oil (CPO) reference price at Rp14,873.24/kg, while the palm kernel price was set at Rp12,556.75/kg, with the K index recorded at 94.64 percent.
The increase in FFB prices reflects improved market conditions and is expected to provide additional income opportunities for Smallholders, particularly those managing productive plantations within the 10–20-year age category.
Jambi remains one of Indonesia's major oil palm producing regions, making FFB price movements an important indicator for the local plantation economy and the livelihoods of thousands of farming households. (T2)
