InfoSAWIT, PONTIANAK – Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) prices in West Kalimantan recorded a significant increase during the second pricing period of June 2026, providing a positive boost for palm oil growers across the province.
According to the West Kalimantan FFB Pricing Committee, the benchmark price for palm trees aged between 10 and 20 years increased by Rp264 per kilogram to Rp3,446.65/kg for the payment period covering May 8–15, 2026.
Based on data obtained by InfoSAWIT from the Provincial Plantation and Livestock Office, FFB prices vary according to plantation age. Prices ranged from Rp2,588.73/kg for three-year-old palms to Rp3,446.65/kg for palms aged between 10 and 20 years.
For older plantations, the benchmark prices were set at Rp3,405.62/kg for 21-year-old palms, Rp3,375.17/kg for 22 years, Rp3,332.94/kg for 23 years, Rp3,240.41/kg for 24 years, and Rp3,154.49/kg for 25 years.
Meanwhile, the provincial committee set the crude palm oil (CPO) reference price at Rp14,418.91/kg, while palm kernel prices reached Rp12,974.32/kg. The K-index was established at 91.81%.
The increase reflects continued strength in upstream palm oil market fundamentals, although actual farmgate prices may vary depending on local trading conditions. (T2)
