InfoSAWIT, PADANG – The Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Pricing Team of West Sumatra Province has agreed to lower oil palm FFB prices for the second period of June 2026 (June 8–14), reflecting adjustments in underlying commodity values.
Based on the official pricing decision, the FFB price for oil palm trees aged 10 to 20 years declined by Rp170.53 per kilogram, bringing the new price to Rp3,684.78/kg.
According to data compiled by InfoSAWIT from the West Sumatra Plantation, Food Crops and Horticulture Agency, the FFB prices by tree age are as follows:
3 years: Rp2,884.34/kg
4 years: Rp3,050.49/kg
5 years: Rp3,232.97/kg
6 years: Rp3,338.23/kg
7 years: Rp3,470.90/kg
8 years: Rp3,600.57/kg
9 years: Rp3,673.55/kg
10–20 years: Rp3,684.78/kg
21 years: Rp3,539.49/kg
22 years: Rp3,533.92/kg
23 years: Rp3,480.86/kg
24 years: Rp3,319.52/kg
25 years: Rp3,284.09/kg
The provincial pricing committee also set the crude palm oil (CPO) reference price at Rp14,357.99/kg, while palm kernel prices were determined at Rp13,696.00/kg. Shell prices were established at Rp17.25/kg, with the K index recorded at 92.60 percent.
The latest adjustment reflects ongoing market dynamics affecting palm oil value chains and serves as a benchmark for FFB transactions involving plasma Smallholders in the province. (T2)
