Gowa–Regional Government of Gowa through the local Social, Workers, and Transmigration Agent in 2014 will send Indonesian workers to Malaysia as palm oil labor.
"So far, we have sent more than 250 men of Indonesian workers to Serawak, Malaysia from 1.600 me we target in this year," Chief of the Agent, Gowa, H Syamsuddin Bidol said, accompanied by Head of Workers Empowerment, Karno in Sungguminasa, Tuesday, (20/5), as quited fromBerita Kota.
In the delivery of the workers to Malaysia, his side will cooperate with 12 companies handling Pelaksana Penempatan Tenaga Kerja Indonesia Swasta (PPTKIS) or Private Indonesian Workers Disposition. "Of the 12 companies, two of them are here (Gowa) and ten others are in Parepare," the Chief of the Agent said.
The Indonesian workers had been sent and they will be as palm oil labors. Karno said, they are contracted for the next two years and one years is extensional option. (T3)
