JAKARTA – The additional crude palm oil (CPO) about 15 percents to diesel will effects to the mechine combustion, that is, the smoke from the vehicle will smell like cooking oil.
“The usage of vegetable fuel will make the sweet smeel, like cooking oil,” General Director of New and Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Rida Mulyana said, Monday (23/3).
He said as Liputan6 reported, the other effect of the additional CPO to diesel is that the carbon emission is lower. Dioxide Carbom (CO2) from the vehicle using diesel with the mixture of 15 percents of vegetable fuel will reduce 8 millions tons per year.
Beside that, it could clean up the crust in the mechine, the dirty crust from the combustor will be piled up in the filter.(T3)
