Non Oil and Gas Exports Decreased

JAKARTA – Ministry of Trade, Indonesian Republic booked, the non oil and gas exports from January to February 2015 decreased though in the early of this year, the exports increased.

“The increasing countries were, Swiss increased more than 40 times, Pakistan increased 47,7% YoY, Taiwan (17,9%), India  (17,6%), Saudi Arabia (15,6%), Vietnam (6,4%),  and Malaysia  (5,7%),” Secretary of Trade,Rachmat Gobel said, Tuesday (17/3) in Jakarta.

The oil and gas exports in January – February 2015 decreased 24,1% (YoY) to be US$ 4,0 billions. So in February 2015, the total exports reached  US$ 12,3  billionsor decreased  8%  than the exports in January.

Gobelcontinued, the decreasing exports happened in some sectors, such as, industries, such as, chemical products decreased 38,8%,  and crude palm oil (CPO) decreased 8,1%, chemical ingredients did 39,2%, and mechine/mechanical equipments did 21,0%. (T3)
