MUARA KAMAN – On last Wednesday, some villagers of Muara Kaman Ilir, Subdistrict of Muara Kaman went to the Regional Legislators, District of Kutai Negara, to complain about their areas which were cultivated by a palm oil company.

One villagers, Muhib said, the people asked, the company should return their 200 hectare area which the plantation cultivated.

But, he continued, if the company won’t return it, the company should give something useful on their areas.

“We hope, the legislator could facilitate us to finish the problems. Giving something useful for us if the company cannot give our area back,” he said.

As it was reported, Legislators of Kutai Kartanegara in the meeting also invited some related instances, such as,, Transmigration and Employee Agency. But the representative of the company, PT Mitrajaya Mandiri (PMM) did not attend the meeting.  (T3)
