InfoSAWIT, MUARA WAHAU – Good news for palm oil farmers in Muara Wahau District, East Kutai Regency. The revenue-sharing issue between plasma farmers and PT Tapian Nadenggan has reached a resolution following a mediation process facilitated by the police.

As reported by InfoSAWIT from tribratakutim on Wednesday (15/10/2205), the agreement was reached at a meeting held at the Muara Wahau Sector Police Office on Monday, October 13, 2025, attended by farmer representatives, cooperative officials, and company management.

In the agreement, it was decided that the remaining cooperative savings fund of Rp 8.1 billion would be used for two main purposes. Rp 1.5 billion is allocated for employee housing construction, while the remainder, Rp 6.6 billion, will be distributed to the plasma farmers.

The distribution of the Rp 6.6 billion fund will be carried out in stages from October to December 2025. Each farmer will receive approximately Rp 5,580,000 per hectare of land they own. Additionally, farmers have the potential to receive an extra fund of up to Rp 750,000 per hectare, depending on the sales results of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB).

With this agreement, the relationship between the farmers and the company is now more conducive. The active role of the police as a mediator is considered successful in aligning the interests of both parties and ending the tensions that arose regarding the transparency of plasma fund management.
