InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at Rp 14,650/kg on Monday (6/10/2025). This marks a Rp 50/Kg decline (approximately 0.34%) compared to the CPO price on Friday (3/10/2025), which reached Rp 14,700/Kg.

According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price Franco Dumai was set at Rp 14,650/Kg. The CPO price FOB Talang Duku opened at Rp 14,450/Kg but saw a withdraw (WD) with the highest bid at Rp 14,415/Kg. The CPO price Franco Teluk Bayur opened at Rp 14,520/Kg but also saw a withdraw (WD) with the highest bid at Rp 14,443/Kg.

Meanwhile, Reuters reported that palm oil futures trading on the Bursa Malaysia weakened on Monday (6/10), pressured by profit-taking after a previous rally, although concerns over declining production continued to limit deeper losses.

The benchmark palm oil contract for December 2025 delivery fell RM 32 per ton, or about 0.72%, to RM 4,410 (US$1,047.01) per ton in midday trading. The contract had previously closed slightly weaker, down 0.09% at RM 4,442 per ton at the end of last week.

The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) is scheduled to release its supply and demand data report for September on October 10, 2025, which is expected to be a key reference for the next price direction.

In the global energy market, world crude oil prices rose by about 1.5% after OPEC+ announced a smaller-than-expected monthly production increase. This rise in crude oil prices helped limit the decline in palm oil prices, as it makes the commodity more attractive as a biodiesel feedstock.

Meanwhile, soybean oil (soyoil) prices on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) strengthened by 0.6%, while the Dalian Commodity Exchange in China remained closed from October 1 to 8 due to a national holiday. (T2)
