InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at Rp14,600/kg on Thursday (9/25/2025). This marks a solid increase of Rp102, or approximately 0.70%, compared to Wednesday’s closing price of Rp14,498/Kg.

According to data obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO Franco Dumai price was fixed at Rp14,600/Kg. The price for FOB Talang Duku was set at Rp14,400/Kg, and Franco Teluk Bayur was established at Rp14,470/Kg.

Global sentiment provided a strong underpinning for the domestic price jump, as palm oil futures trading on the Malaysian exchange finished higher for the second consecutive session on Thursday (9/25/2025). The rally was driven by a triple boost: rising soybean oil prices, solid Malaysian export figures, and a key policy delay from Europe.

The benchmark CPO contract for December 2025 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange closed up RM61 per ton, or 1.39%, reaching RM4,440 (US$1,055.13) per metric ton.

Market confidence was boosted by recent data from cargo surveyors showing that Malaysian palm oil product exports for the first 25 days of September 2025 increased by between 11.3% and 12.9% compared to the same period the previous month.

Furthermore, market sentiment was positively impacted by the European Union’s (EU) decision to once again postpone the full enforcement of its landmark anti-deforestation regulation (EUDR). This delay defers the ban on imports of commodities linked to deforestation, including palm oil, for at least another year.

In other global markets, the price for the most active soybean oil contract in Dalian rose by 1.19%, while the palm oil contract on the same exchange increased by 1.59%. Soybean oil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade also strengthened by 0.98%.
