InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at Rp14,498/kg on Wednesday (9/24/2025). This marks a slight increase of Rp23/Kg, or about 0.16%, compared to the price of Rp14,475/Kg on Tuesday (9/23/2025).

According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO Franco Dumai price was set at Rp14,498/Kg. The Loco Pelaihari price opened at Rp13,944/Kg but was withdrawn (WD), with the highest bid at Rp13,349/Kg.

Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, palm oil futures trading on the Malaysian exchange moved within a narrow range on Wednesday (9/24/2025), influenced by a combination of positive sentiment from stronger exports and rising soybean oil prices, but burdened by palm oil's weakening competitiveness against other vegetable oils.

The benchmark palm oil contract for December 2025 on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange edged up by RM7 per ton, or 0.16%, to RM4,350 (US$1,036.21) per ton during the midday trading break. The previous day, the contract price had dropped by 2.25%.

Data from cargo surveyors estimated that Malaysia's palm oil product exports for the period of September 1-20 increased by 8.3% to 8.7% compared to the previous month.

Meanwhile, on the Dalian exchange, the most active soybean oil contract weakened by 0.34%, while the palm oil contract only saw a slight increase of 0.04%. On the Chicago Board of Trade, soybean oil prices were recorded to have strengthened by 0.12%.
