South Sumatra Palm Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Prices Rise in Late September

InfoSAWIT, PALEMBANG – Palm oil farmers in South Sumatra are seeing a price increase for fresh fruit bunches (FFB). The South Sumatra provincial FFB Price Determination Team has set the price for 10-20 year-old palm oil at IDR 3,601.06 per kilogram for the second period of September 2025, an increase of IDR 24.29 per kilogram.

According to data from the South Sumatra Plantation Agency, the price breakdown for different ages is as follows:

3 years old: IDR 3,023.66/kg

4 years old: IDR 3,118.14/kg

5 years old: IDR 3,251.38/kg

6 years old: IDR 3,284.33/kg

7 years old: IDR 3,280.71/kg

8 years old: IDR 3,401.95/kg

9 years old: IDR 3,472.31/kg

10-20 years old: IDR 3,601.06/kg

21 years old: IDR 3,592.00/kg

22 years old: IDR 3,602.41/kg

23 years old: IDR 3,577.53/kg

24 years old: IDR 3,478.60/kg

25 years old: IDR 3,492.46/kg

The price of crude palm oil (CPO) was set at IDR 14,360.83/kg, while palm kernel was set at IDR 13,366.63/kg. The value for palm shell was IDR 15.55/kg, with a Kernel Index (K) of 91.51%. (T2)
